What a lovely time. It had some amazing highs as far as being part of this calling, this mission to visit the games I loved in real life. Great to to sample new sights, sounds, smells, tastes and although with some apprehension, meeting others too.

It’s still strange travelling alone though. I have more of a need to keep myself to myself and that perhaps lessens the experiences somewhat. However, I did enjoy the chats I did have. On the last night, a guy at one of the restaurants I frequented on Kamari beach invited me for drinks and a chat as they closed up and we chatted about the world. We talked about life, loves, national identity, hopes and dreams. And we knocked back a few. Just how an evening should be.

And so the next morning, back to Manchester.

I could definitely go again. Especially I’d love to go with someone. But of the things I’d like to do, more time in Oia would be one of my main wants. Either way, this trip marked a momentous occasion, that of me having a good decision. The Sonic World Adventure may be one of the best decisions I have every made. On to the next location!
